He was spotted in the Malawi national team for the 2015 COSAFA Cup in South Africa, making his debut against Mozambique national team at the quarter-final stage.
He joined Baroka F.C. on the 1st of July, 2019; and was recently announced as the new captain of Baroka F. C.; replacing Mdu Mdantsane, whose contract ends in June 2020.
“It came as a surprise to be chosen as captain. I think it’s because of my performance in the few months that I have been here. It was a choice of the coach and the chairman, and I was pleasantly surprised. I will do what I have got to do. As long as I keep on doing well, I will remain captain. I just have to make sure my performance is consistent.
I have been captain before with the Flames national team. Have been vice captain before too. Being a captain in a foreign land is quite dope. I intend to achieve.”
