Hi,
I’m Av – your new current affairs editor.
Welcome to Avery’s Musings, a bi-weekly column on all things global and current. I’m grateful for this opportunity first of all; I’ve always had an ambition to have a platform where I can share my thoughts, opinions and analyses of the world around me.
By way of introduction, I am a former political quack, now having a rather tedious go at law school. There will be a lot of politicking and the platform will be as engaging as possible. I will be dealing mainly in facts and the opinions and analyses offered will greatly emanate from the facts to avoid grandstanding and misleading my audience.
My musings will focus on a whole range of subjects, including but not limited to finance, politics, International relations, law, edutainment and other topics as the case may be. I’m not an expert on all these fields but I am radically open minded and I’ll welcome constructive debate and learn new things, and I’m confident this will be a fantastic journey because I know a little something about everything.
I planned on this post being a long and arduous one. But I don’t have much introductory words. More about me will probably be revealed in my actual opinions, because it will reflect my ideologies and the way I think. So come back every Monday, Wednesday and Friday for some joy riding.
