I was invited to celebrate the International Women’s Day 2023 with Yamba Malawi and Perkins Coie last night in Manhattan.
A little bit about Yamba Malawi – the organisation transforms children’s lives by empowering communities to break the cycle of poverty. With community-led programs centered around childhood wellbeing, sustainable businesses, and financial management, their Childhoods & Livelihoods Program is building new beginnings for children, and lasting change for their communities. The event was patronised by different board members, and Malawians in New York. A wonderful night, celebrating the work being done for women and children in Malawi.
