If you are reading this, it means that it is officially the last day of my MBA studies at the Michigan State University.
I came to MSU with two goals in mind: to pursue an MBA, and to write.
I have the past two years building the Lessons Series โ a body of work shaped by my experiences across development, technology, and entrepreneurship, and by the deeper questions Iโve been carrying for years about power, systems, and what it really means to redesign the world.
The series launches on July 6 [pre-orders are open]
The MBA was a part of my ongoing journey โ a way to sharpen the thinking, pressure-test the ideas, and ground the work in business, strategy, and execution. But the books have always been the anchor.
Ahead of the launch of my books, Iโll be stepping onto the TEDxMSU stage to share a talk titled:
World 2.0: Smarter Machines, Faster Evidence, Same Ego
A talk inspired by the books that have somehow managed to wreck my brain. Areflection on colonization, development, AI, and the uncomfortable truth that while our tools evolve rapidly, our systems โ and our egos โ often do not.
The theme of my talk:
What works? In what context? Under what circumstances? And… why?
Those questions sit at the heart of the Lessons Series, and somehow also the work Iโm building through Q2 Systems.
Iโm grateful to be part of the TEDxMSU community, and honored to be a finalist in the Burgess New Venture Competition.
In the coming weeks, Iโll be relocating to Detroit to continue building Q2 Systems โ focused on simulation-driven infrastructure, agriculture, and applied learning for emerging markets.
I have also been selected to be in several fellowships, and I am deeply thankful for the communities that continue to invest in my growth โ not just as an entrepreneur, but as a creative, a systems thinker, and a storyteller.
I will forever be grateful to MSU for giving me space to think, write, and I will remain forever and eternally a Spartan.
Thrilled for what comes next – keeping feet squarely on the ground, and eyes always always at the stars.
If youโd like to go deeper into my journey โ from Malawi, through the United Nations to Microsoft, you can find it in my books.
P.S. for 2026, you can get any of my books via Kindle for only $2.99.
This offer is valid till the end of the year.
