On the 25th of February, 2022, I joined NxtGen Labs as they had a Showcase and networking event where learners between the ages of 8-12 demonstrated projects in robotics that had an element of machine learning or artificial intelligence inline with the theme of the night which was “Preparing Malawi’s youth for the Fourth Industrial Revolution.”
The event was graced by the Deputy Minister of Education, Honorable Monica Chang’anamuno along with her Directors from the Ministry.
The event was organised by Synergy Malawi, and I was a part of the panel session with NxtGen Labs founder Eugene Maseya and president of the ICT Association of Malawi Bram Fudzulani, discussing the fourth industrial revolution and digitisation in Malawi.
