Anybody that knows me knows I love love.
I’ve been trying to heal my heart lately which has led me to thinking about the lessons I have gotten from loving. These are the 22 I love the most.
1. You have love all around you.
2. You cannot love another trully if you do not love yourself right first
3. Love wholly, love trully, love deeply.
4. “Friends first” makes for the best lovers.
5. Romantic love normally hurts but it is worth it.
6. There is no true love without friendship, mutual respect and absolute honesty.
7. Love takes two.
8. Nobody owes you love in this world.
9. Love is a choice, love should never be an obligation.
10. Love grows when you let love be.
11. Give everything for love.
12. Fear of lonely is not love, but it has been known to make love last.
13. True love takes real fight.
14. People that love you can hurt you.
15. People can love you and leave you.
16. People are allowed to choose themselves over you.
17. People are allowed to do what makes them happy at the expense of your emotions.
18. You could go to the moon and back for someone and it’s okay for them to not reciprocate that love.
19. Know who won’t go as hard for you, as you will for them. Love and forgive them, and let them go. Let the hurt go.
20. Holding the cracks in your heart from breaking will only postpone the hurt. It will happen regardless.
21. If you got chemistry, all you need is timing. But timing, timing’s a bitch.
22. Love is a terribly beautiful thing!
Most importantly, broken hearts mend. So you remain good. You keep on giving good love from your big ole heart. Spread love and light where you go.
