Day 1 ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝโ€๐Ÿ’ป๐Ÿค Nominated by the #BroadSpartan classes of 2025 and 2026 for the 2025 Leadership Award. Up all night preparing for my โ€˜๐˜ผ๐™˜๐™˜๐™ค๐™ช๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™›๐™ค๐™ง ๐˜ฟ๐™š๐™˜๐™ž๐™จ๐™ž๐™ค๐™ฃ-๐™ˆ๐™–๐™ ๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™–๐™ฃ๐™™ ๐˜พ๐™ค๐™ฃ๐™ฉ๐™ง๐™ค๐™กโ€™ exam AKA last exam of the first year of the MBA, and grading my students at the College of Engineering. Really โ€˜pushingโ€™ 30โ€™ in the 30iest way possible. Wrapping up Y1 of my MBA at @MSUBroadCollege, and about to step into a new chapter with @Microsoft @Xbox | Feels like an excellent time to update the 2025 branding. I still giggle a bit when I read the word โ€˜Internโ€™ cause never in my life would I have thought this is something I would even be doing at all of 30 years old. Happy #WorldCreativityandInnovationDay! This week, I received news of my nomination as ๐™ˆ๐™ค๐™จ๐™ฉ ๐™„๐™ฃ๐™จ๐™ฅ๐™ž๐™ง๐™ž๐™ฃ๐™œ ๐™๐™š๐™ข๐™–๐™ก๐™š ๐˜พ๐™ค๐™ง๐™ฅ๐™ค๐™ง๐™–๐™ฉ๐™š ๐™‡๐™š๐™–๐™™๐™š๐™ง at the 2025 ๐—–๐—ผ๐—ป๐˜€๐˜‚๐—บ๐—ฒ๐—ฟ ๐—–๐—ต๐—ผ๐—ถ๐—ฐ๐—ฒ ๐—”๐˜„๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฑ๐˜€ | @CCAwardsAfrica. I am nominated alongside some of Malawiโ€™s incredible women leading banks, insurance companies, and national innovation hubs. Exactly a year ago, my team at the @NthaFoundation and I hosted the first edition of @CIDCONAfrica, in commemoration of the @UnitedNations #WorldCreativityandInnovationDay (April 21st). July, 2024: defending my thesis, with what I thought was a โ€˜goodโ€™ understanding on my study and analysis (S/O to Prof. Maluwa for his foundational knowledge and his commitment to holding me accountable to wake up at 1am for 7am classes in Malawi while I was in NY). The face of an entrepreneur who just got a 100% on her exam. I cannot believe I really got myself back in school, and I am categorically acing it. โ€œI, Jeffrey W. Bullock, secretary of the State of Delaware, do hereby certify that the attached is a true and correct copy of the certificate of incorporation of โ€˜Ntha Foundationโ€™ filed in this office on the Sixth day of March, A.D. 2025 at 2:12 Oโ€™Clock P.M.โ€ The IG algorithm really does not appreciate that I treat it like a convergence of Pinterest and LinkedIn (lol), and the good news is that I do not care. Working in the media industry over the past 12 years has taught me so much. Likeโ€ฆ The world changing us, more than we get to change it. I thinkโ€ฆ somehowโ€ฆ that is the real magic. โ™ฅ๏ธ The thing with dreams is that they often cease to feel like dreams as soon as you are living them. Thereโ€™s a backstory to the #KwathuKollective (@KwathuKonnect). When theย @NthaFoundation was awarded the @WorldBank grant to set up innovation hubs, I was in the space of writing a film. In January of 2024, I knew that my chapter with NYC was complete, and I set out on 5 country transit, to find my next home. As I move through life and leadership as a woman, I often pause and ask myself: โ€œWhat would Ana Rosa do?โ€
