Perhaps the riskiest thing I get to do as an entrepreneur: betting on Africa. A few weeks ago, I had a chat with the @UNCDF and Digital Frontiers Institute teams on the topic of A hopeless romantic soul trapped in the body of a business business woman. Such a beautiful way to wrap up Octoberโ€”launching our work with @Q2Corp! Why just have conversations about technology when you can ride it in. In July of 2024, I made the fairly difficult decision to leave Malawi and head (back) to the U.S. to pivot our work with the @KwathuKollective into Agriculture (#AgTech specifically). I recall being a specific kind of disillusioned on my most recent trip to New York. Writing #AfricaninAmerica, Swipe โ†”๏ธ for some impostor syndrome New Yorkโ€”always always, my heart. ๐Ÿฉต๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ณ A new feature for the new week ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’ซ Still reflecting on #UNGA80 ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿฉต And this Motherโ€™s Day, I also celebrate all the incredible women around me who do the unparalleled work of raising entire generations, and ensuring the glass cuts the generations after just a little bit less. 22/05/22 | The first photograph of Manhattan I tookโ€ฆ at a point in time when life felt quite like magic. This motherโ€™s day finds me (still) writing about โ€˜Make Nthaโ€™. If you are reading this, it means that I am half-way through semester 3/4 of the MBA, and about 80% done with my total MBA coursework. Back to Business (School) ๐Ÿš€๐Ÿฉต q2corporation.com I always wondered what returning to the UN HQ would feel like.
