Love Thyself #PoetryMonday

Hey hey!

Growth to me happens best when one unveils her vulnerability and finds comfort in her honesty. May your week give you strength to be comfortable in your vulnerable self. May this week be your week of healing, or even next week or next month. However much time it may take, may you heal in your most right time.

Love Thyself

Remind yourself about probability of the storm to extinguish.
That despite your heart is rusting away in the most painful way possible,
You fight to breathe.
You fight to survive.
You take deep breaths, drink tea, warm yourself under your blanket.
Even though the weather isn’t cold at all,
Your blanket which mom bought for you makes you feel protected and safe.
And no.
It still doesn’t soothe you.
You’re dying in a way you’re conscious enough to feel pain.
And yet too weak to even hold your half filled cup of tea.
Death has come to you.
You’re a sentimental dead.
You think you’re crazy.
No,
You aren’t.
You broke yourself into pieces didn’t you.
Wait.
It is not you.
It is the devil inside you.
Depression is the ghost.
And you’re this little girl hiding under her bed,
Only wishing it doesn’t come her way,
It comes her way.

Love thyself, specially when you most hate it.

Gigantic love sealed with prayers,
