In November, 2024, I joined Africa’s youth at the 7th Youth Connekt Summit in Rwanda. I delivered a keynote, highlighting the work of the Kwathu Kollective, and our mission to empower Africa’s youth through education and innovation. Our programs, like the Nyenyezi Fellowship and M’mawa Apprenticeship, equip students with essential skills. The U.S. Election Results: Policy Implications for African Nations
Reflecting on the U.S. election results, I’m reminded of the complex impact on Africa. While foreign aid is essential in the short term, our vision remains a self-reliant Africa, driven by youth innovation and resilience. I’m personally disappointed by the outcome, but public service is about prioritizing community before self.
