Hey loves,
I hope you are doing alright.
I wanted to stop by to tell you about one of the most amazing photographers I have worked with. If y’all have noticed, the picture quality on all my social media pages has tremendously improved and one of the people responsible for that is Ismail of IM Photography.
I met Ismail on a shoot a few weeks ago through one of my photographer friends, BenSam, and I fell in love instantly.
I work with amazing photographers everyday, but Ismail was the most versatile of them all. I am quite specific to how I want my pictures. At times we would butt heads about what I want and what he wants, but the end result was always magnificent.
He identifies himself as versatile because he is in different fields of photography:
PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY
LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY
PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY
NATURE AND WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY
EVENT PHOTOGRAPHY
And
CASE STUDY PHOTOGRAPHY
Now if you know me, you know I am not so easily impressed so there really must have been something here. First to capture my attention was the fact that he is of Indian decent. I had never before worked with an Indian Photographer until I met him so I was curious as to how that would turn out.
Second to capture my attention was his sense of humor – Simply hilarious this guy. He kept me laughing effortlessly during the entire shoot and it was beautiful that I did not have to fake smiles as we shot. I was really laughing.
Ismail also happens to be the master of posing. It might seem annoying and uncomfortable at first when he is asking you to move around when you were certain you had the perfect pose but when you see the result you start wishing all your photographers could direct you as he does.
Whenever I tell him that I want to shoot, he always asks me to create concepts, and requests that we must have a pre-shoot meeting so we are on the same page about what content we are creating on a particular day. Normally we have specific concepts that we thoroughly plan before we even get on set, such that by the time we are getting to the shoot he only thing remaining to do is really just capture the photo we both have in mind.
Now I know we know of a lot of people that call themselves self-taught photographers but Ismail definitely lives up to it. On set, you will most likely catch him doing some mathematics to get the perfect picture. It was actually my first time seeing someone doing mathematics to capture a photo and I was thoroughly amused.
They best part is he works at affordable flexible rates.
I could go on, but why not let you experience his work for yourself? You can find some of his work on Instagram. You may also contact him on whatsapp +265 999 274 082 or vial Email.
I hope this takes you a step closer to your photography dreams.
All my love,
Ntha
