Knowing what I know now—having lived and loved the journey, I would not change a single thing. ♥️ I think something quite fundamental in me snapped over the past week. My mental health nearly won its on-going battle with me. Perhaps the riskiest thing I get to do as an entrepreneur: betting on Africa. A few weeks ago, I had a chat with the @UNCDF and Digital Frontiers Institute teams on the topic of ‘𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻’. A hopeless romantic soul trapped in the body of a business business woman. Such a beautiful way to wrap up October—launching our work with @Q2Corp! Why just have conversations about technology when you can ride it in. In July of 2024, I made the fairly difficult decision to leave Malawi and head (back) to the U.S. to pivot our work with the @KwathuKollective into Agriculture (#AgTech specifically). I recall being a specific kind of disillusioned on my most recent trip to New York. Writing #AfricaninAmerica, Swipe ↔️ for some impostor syndrome New York—always always, my heart. 🩵🇺🇳 A new feature for the new week 🤍💫 Still reflecting on #UNGA80 🇺🇳🩵 And this Mother’s Day, I also celebrate all the incredible women around me who do the unparalleled work of raising entire generations, and ensuring the glass cuts the generations after just a little bit less. 22/05/22 | The first photograph of Manhattan I took… at a point in time when life felt quite like magic. This mother’s day finds me (still) writing about ‘Make Ntha’. If you are reading this, it means that I am half-way through semester 3/4 of the MBA, and about 80% done with my total MBA coursework.
