I am delighted to share that my second book, Feminine Silence: Walking on Glass Shells, was officially launched in New York City last week, on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly.
This edition now carries a foreword by H.E. Dr. Agnes Chimbiri-Molande, Malawiโs Permanent Representative to the United Nations, who has been a mentor and guide in my journey. I was honored to have her as the Guest of Honour at the launch dinner, hosted at Sinigual in Midtown East Manhattan.
The evening brought together a wonderful mix of people โ Malawians living across the Tri-State Area, members of Malawiโs official delegation to the UNGA, and colleagues from the wider African and global development community, including Prof. Samson Mikeka of Malawiโs Department of Science, Technology & Innovation (DSTI). We were also joined by members of the Most Influential People of African Descent (MIPAD) network, who continue to be an inspiring community of Africans doing incredible work worldwide.
It was an intimate and deeply meaningful night โ sharing stories, celebrating our roots, and affirming the work ahead in pushing for gender equity and social transformation. I am grateful to every single person who came to support this milestone.
๐ You can now purchase and read Feminine Silence on Amazon (Kindle, Paperback, Hardcover).

Every copy supports the work we continue to do at the Ntha Foundation โ building sustainable solutions, championing education transformation, and advocating for gender equality.
To those who joined me in New York, and to everyone who will meet me in the pages of this book: thank you. Your support means the world.

All my love,
Ntha
