Years ago, when I was experimenting as a digital media creator, I relied heavily on tools similar to Camtasia and Snagit to capture knowledge, make tutorials, and share ideas in a clear, engaging way. Later, during my time at Microsoft, I saw the power of digital platforms to scale communication and storytelling across organizations.
2025 Leadership Award (Broad College of Business): On Belonging, Leadership, and Anchoring
On the 25th of April, 2025, I received the 2025 Leadership Award—an absolute surprise to me. I came into the MSU MBA program seeking belonging. Along the way, I discovered leadership, community, and deeper self-awareness — embracing growth, anchoring in love, and leading with authenticity.
Our Connected Future: the Kwathu Konnect Vision
At the beginning of 2025, I took on 32 students: 25 🇺🇸 MSU students, and 7 🇲🇼 MUST students; as their guide through their Capstone and WIL projects respectively. When I set my goal of teaching during my MBA, I envisioned myself sharing insights, leading teams, making an impact.
What I did not fully anticipate was how profoundly teaching — while also being a full-time student — would transform me.

When I began contemplating a return to graduate school to pursue my MBA, I harbored a silent desire:
