One thing that I think I know how to do, and can confidently teach you how to do is BLOGGING.
I have been a blogger for 10 years – since 2013. In those 10 years, I have partnered with 10s of brands around the world, built two companies, travelled to various countries, trained over 500 people in digital and entrepreneurial skills, and I want to continue doing that – teaching you how you can leverage digital media for your persona, professional, but also financial growth.

First things first – I bought the apple watch!
Yes I am excited because that means my Apple collection is complete (for now)! It costed me about $500, and the big question is: was it worth it??

StartUp Masterclass
In February, 2022, I was invited by Wealth Malawi to be one of the speakers at a #StartUp masterclass.
I shared on my 10 year journey as a digital media specialist and creator.
I specifically shared on my frustrations with the digital landscape in Malawi – and what more I think we can do for Malawi, leveraging the digital space.

From Blog to $300,000 Business
Speaking of my business – what started out as a small lifestyle blog in 2013 eventually turned into a quarter+ million dollar business, that is growing.
Over the past few years, I have learnt SO much about the tech sector, but also the media sector. In this video, I go into detail of how I set up my blog, and how I worked with my friends and colleagues to create what is soon to be one of the most notable businesses in Malawi.

Moving To New York
In May, 2022, I moved to New York City.
I am currently based in Manhattan, and one thing I have grown to appreciate in the value and importance of community. The Malawian community in New York is, as expected, very communal, and we gather every so often, especially during the holidays.
I share in this video of the last gathering we had with the Malawi Mission to the UN, at the Ambassador’s residence.

2022 Recap
2022 was a great year for me in all aspects of my life.
And as fate would have it, as if to balance out the good, I also experienced my greatest loss – my mother transitioned into the next realm. Even in losing her, I find spaces to be grateful for my community, my career, and in my personal life.

Riding Waves
A few days before I left Malawi, I travelled with my mother to Blue Zebra Island Lodge – what would to be my last time spent fully with her in her life. Her birthday was coming up, and I was to miss it because I would be in Berlin for a conference.
On our way to Nankoma, it was windy, and because of the strength of the waves on the Lake Malawi, we had to ride the waves on our way to the islands. The process of riding the waves got me thinking about self-care. (The audio is not as great, apologies in advance).
