I was deeply honored to join a panel discussion with Zantchito Entrepreneurship Voices (ZEV), an initiative that is revolutionizing how entrepreneurship is understood, celebrated, and supported across Malawi.
On May 29th, 2024, I, alongside my Kwathu Kollective team, had the honor of hosting the UN Resident Coordinator for Malawi, Rebeccah Adda-Dontoh, at the Kwathu Koworking Spaces in Lilongwe. It was a momentous occasion, not only because of her stature and the incredible work she represents but also because of the thought-provoking and impactful conversation we had about Africa’s future.
Theresa Kachindamoto is widely known as โthe marriage terminatorโ โ a title she never gave herself, but one that speaks to the bold legacy sheโs building in Malawi. Her work ending child marriages has been covered by journalists, NGOs, and global platforms. I had read about her. Heard stories about her. Quoted her statistics. Admired her courage. On May 24th, 2024 โ for the first time โ I got to sit down and listen to her speak.
